About the Journal
Uygulamalı Felsefe Dergisi (Journal of Applied Philosophy) is an open-access, academic, double-blind peer-reviewed journal published by the Association of Applied Philosophy. The journal aims to strengthen the relationship between philosophical thought and contemporary humanitarian, social, technological, ethical, ecological, cultural, and public issues.
The journal publishes original academic work conducted across various fields of applied philosophy. Ethics, philosophy of technology, AI ethics, environmental and nature philosophy, philosophy of education, philosophy of law, medical ethics and bioethics, human rights, art and aesthetics, philosophy of science, public reason, social life, and critical thinking are among the journal's areas of interest.
Uygulamalı Felsefe Dergisi (Journal of Applied Philosophy) publishes original research articles, book reviews, and translated texts accepted following editorial board evaluation. Research articles are submitted to a double-blind peer review process after an initial assessment by the editorial board. Book reviews and translated texts may be accepted for publication through editorial board evaluation.
Submissions must not have been previously published and must not be under simultaneous review at another journal. Authors are responsible for the originality of their submissions, the accuracy of source use, adherence to academic writing principles, and obtaining any required permissions.
Uygulamalı Felsefe Dergisi (Journal of Applied Philosophy) accepts submissions in Turkish, English, German, French, and Italian. The journal is published twice a year, and all content is made freely available to readers in accordance with the open-access principle.
